I don't seem to be able to use the USB port on my Ti1Ghz Powerbook
using Virtual PC 6 / Windows XP Professional anymore under OS 10.2.6
(it used to work before). When I go to 'connection settings', the
'allow USB connection with the desktop computer' remains light grey
and cannot be activated and the status is 'Not supported'. In the
'device manager' the USB controllers are enabled and the device status
reads 'This device is working properly'. When I go to 'Settings for
Windows XP professional' and look for USB settings, the 'Enable USB'
box is ticked. Also, under Mac OSX the USB ports work properly. Anyone
a solution how to be able to use the USB port under Virtual PC6 again?

Hello,

Have you solved the problem - if so how? I have the same problem... running Virtual PC 6.1 with XP on a Powerbook G4. The computer and XP recognize the Earthmate USB device when plugged in, but Street Atlas does not see teh GPS device attached - I get the No GPS indicator.

If you reply, please cc me directly at ***@earthlink.net as I have trouble finding posts sometimes.

THANKS
